Wetfish Trawlers

Wetfish trawlers catch redfish, cod, saithe and haddock which is delivered to the processing plants in Akranes, Reykjavík and Vopnafjordur. The trips last only three to six days at a time and the catch is pre-cooled and well iced in tubs to preserve the quality of the raw material.
