Thorgerður Katrín visits HB Grandi in Brussels
Fisheries and agriculture minister Thorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir visited HB Grandi’s stand at the Seafood Expo Global exhibition that takes place this week in Brussels. HB Grandi’s stand was among those visited by the minister, with marketing director Brynjólfur Eyjólfsson on hand to receive the minister and her retinue.
Seafood Expo Global is the largest seafood exhibition in the world and HB Grandi is among the exhibitors. This is the twelfth time the company has presented its products there under its own name, although last year the decision was taken to not take part following terrorist attacks in France and Belgium.
According to Brynjólfur Eyjólfsson, HB Grandi has a 90 square metre stand and twenty staff from the company’s marketing division taking part to present the company’s goods and services.
‘The first day of the exhibition on Tuesday was highly successful. The stand is very good and everything has gone well. As in the past, the aim is to meet key customers across our markets and to meet others with an interest in doing business with us,’ he said, adding that he and his team are heavily booked across the three day event.
HB Grandi is in Hall 6 on stand 815, close to the Promote Iceland stand where a number of Icelandic companies are represented.
